The Blood of Jesus is God’s solution to Man’s
Sin problem. And just as it was prophesied in the Old, the New Testament is
replete with references that emphasizes this important aspect of our salvation.
The Blood cleanses, qualifies, and sanctifies.
Jesus didn’t shed His blood on the Cross for Himself; as a Believer the Blood
is there for you. Take advantage of it today.
Tit 2:14 (GW) He gave himself for us to set
us free from every sin and to cleanse us so that we can be his special people
who are enthusiastic about doing good things.
Heb 1:3 (NLTse) When he had cleansed us from
our sins, he sat down in the place of honour at the right hand of the majestic
God in heaven.
Heb 9:14 (CEV) But Christ was sinless, and he
offered himself as an eternal and spiritual sacrifice to God. That's why his
blood is much more powerful and makes our consciences clear. Now we can serve
the living God and no longer do things that lead to death.
Tit 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of
deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the
washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a sincere
heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an
evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
1Cor 6:11 Such were some of you; but you were
washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
Eph 5:26 So that He might sanctify her,
having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
John 15:3 “You are already clean because of
the word which I have spoken to you.
1 John 1:7 (AMP) … and the blood of Jesus Christ His
Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in
all its forms and manifestations].
